Role Summary:

The candidate will be working in a multicultural Team, creating and analyzing key profitability metrics reviewed by Senior management on a regular basis. In order to do this, the candidate will be in constant communication with related areas such as Pricing, DBM, Regional Actuarial services, ALM.  

Job Description:

Generate and analyze Monthly and quarterly New Business Profitability Metrics.

Active participation on Annual New Business Plan Process.

Analyze New Business initiatives such as new investment or reinsurance strategies, new capital or reserve framework.

Maintain accurate models and updated assumptions for MIS reporting along with proper documentation.

Skills & Experience (Must Have):

Two years or more actuarial work experience

- Actuarial credentials (two subjects or more)

- Expert skills in MS Excel and other office tools.

- English skill (writing & speaking)

- Japanese skill(writing and speaking)

Skills & Experience (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in actuarial modelling is a plus

Internal Guidelines about Work from Home:

Hybrid Model, following Manulife’s Working Better guidelines.

Over time:

0-40 hours/month.

Salary:

Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.

Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our Work Rules.

Working Hours:

Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm  (Include 1 hour break. Flex-time system available)
