BlueCat is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager.  In this role, you will make a significant impact to our organization and be a part of our highly collaborative Finance team. Accounts Payable Manger will be responsible for the AP function of all subsidiaries within the BlueCat group.
 
Due to the core accounting team being based in North America, the Accounts Payable Manager would be expected to work a 2nd shift schedule to ensure half-day overlap with the Accounting Manager. The local hours would be: 11:00am/12:00pm – 8:00pm (depending on lunch break timing).
 
Responsibilities:
-          Responsible for the AP function of all BlueCat subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and employee T&E expenses, payments, and account reconciliations
-          Act as a primary point of escalation for AP-related vendor inquiries, providing timely and professional responses
-          Hands-on support in processing vendor invoices and T&E expenses
-          Coordinate payments including bi-monthly payment runs, ad hoc manual payments, contractor payments and reimbursements, credit cards payments
-          Monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts, investigating aged balances
-          Support AP integration of newly acquired subsidiaries
-          Create and maintain AP manual and process notes
-          Lead accounts payable process improvements including supplier onboarding, implementation of PO matching, historical clean up
-          Administrator of various platforms related to T&E (Navan, Expensify, and Uber), reviewing transactions to ensure compliance with company policy, and providing timely responses to business requests and queries
-          Manage outstanding PO’s including matching invoices to purchase orders
-          Review new vendor requests
-          Process journal entries for manual payments and cross-charges to other subsidiaries
-          Support month-end processes, including account reconciliations
 
-          Perform additional responsibilities related to accounts payable as assigned, adapting to the department’s evolving needs.
 
Skills and Experiences Required:
-          5-10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years of leadership/management experience in Accounts Payable with direct supervision is preferred.
-          Willing to be hands on with transactional work as well as lead/manage processes
-          Experience recording journal entries to general ledger
-          Strong analytic and math skills
-          Knowledge of accounting principles
-          Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, problem solving and decision making skills
-          Strong organizational and communication skills
