In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites while ensuring they are optimized for search engines. The ideal candidate will have strong web development skills along with a solid understanding of SEO principles, enabling them to create websites that are both technically sound and optimized for high search engine performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
Implement SEO best practices during the website development process, ensuring all pages are optimized for search engines.
Work closely with the SEO team to implement on-page SEO elements like meta tags, alt tags, header tags, and keyword optimization.
Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for improving website speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall performance.
Ensure websites are compatible with major browsers and devices and are accessible for all users.
Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure SEO strategies are aligned with content and visual design.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, SEO, and user experience.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and SEO trends to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in web development with a strong understanding of SEO principles.
Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Knowledge of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Joomla.
Experience with website speed optimization, mobile-first design, and other technical SEO aspects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
