Payroll Onboarding Specialist

3pm to 11pm Monday - Friday

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Onboarding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the client onboarding process by demonstrating the features and functionalities of our sophisticated payroll software. Your responsibilities will include providing hands-on training and guidance to new clients, ensuring they are equipped to use the platform efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and an excellent communicator, capable of translating complex software functionalities into easy-to-understand instructions. This position requires someone who is highly organized, patient, and customer-focused, with a passion for empowering clients to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct live demos of the payroll software for new clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Provide in-depth training to clients on the system, including setup, navigation, and usage best practices.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition to the software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or client concerns during onboarding.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including user guides, videos, and FAQs, tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, and Support) to address client feedback and improve onboarding experiences.
  • Track and report on onboarding progress and client satisfaction to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll, software training, or client onboarding roles.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate complex software systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training approaches to different learning styles.
  • Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, or similar software is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in creating training resources and delivering effective training sessions to individuals and groups.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance regulations.
  • Experience working in SaaS or tech industries.
  • Basic understanding of technical integrations, such as API or data migration processes.
