Director, Business Development


PRI is looking for a talented Director, Business Development to join our growing team. We have offices based in NYC and Paramus, NJ and offer flexible work from home options.


Job Overview

The Director, Business Development will be a critical member of the sales team. The Director, Business Development is an individual contributor responsible for selling PRI’s suite of digital offerings. 


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities with key players at targeted major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

  • Understand the competitor’s environment and how we differentiate our solutions

  • Create and manage a pipeline to manage the sales process and drive to closure opportunities to meet or exceed a specific revenue goal for the fiscal year

  • Building and expanding existing relationships with Product/Brand Managers. Liaise with client and internal support team to define expectations and meet business targets.

  • Demonstrate high proficiency explaining and presenting PRI’s offerings to clients

  • This position requires an individual with strong communication skills (both written & verbal), outgoing, professional and able to interact with clients at all levels.

  • Successful background selling compelling, effective digital programs

  • Excellent relationships in the healthcare market and ability to leverage these for sales opportunities

  • Excellent organizational, strong leadership, client relationship skills with a focus on meeting client expectations, excellent judgment, reasoning, and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a “team” idealized company.


Extensive travel is required to client meetings and conferences domestically and internationally as the business dictates. Must be able to travel overnight on a regular basis.
