As a Regional Sales Manager for the South of India, you will grow our business of McGraw Hill India Higher Education Digital and Print business in India by growing Institutional, Government and Adoption based sales.

How can you make an impact?

As a Regional Sales Manager you will be working closely to cover and promote Higher Education products in the states for the South of India - Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. You would be driving the entire sales activities for the division and drive the new initiatives, playing a pivotal role in the division’s growth & expansion. Additionally, one will also stimulate long term digital growth particularly by reinforcing the position of McGraw Hill as a leader in adaptive learning and the contribution of sustainable subscriptions revenue to the business.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of McGraw Hill Higher Education digital and print products and utilize the knowledge in successfully selling the product in the South region of India to new and existing customers
  • Create and execute a sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports Company revenue and profit targets
  • Develop business through B2B and B2C segments and regularly meet with existing and new customers to understand the evolving business needs and extend product solutions
  • Maintain consistent communication and follow up timely with the customer and channel partners by being responsive to their real-time needs
  • Work effectively and efficiently with the internal team here at McGraw Hill such as Marketing, Product Development, Customer Care and Warehouse in order to maximize product visibility and revenue generation
  • Create and complete sales activity reports and present it in a timely manner

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelors' degree is mandatory
  • 15+ years of relevant Experience in Sales preferably in education industry (Higher Education segment)
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory (50% -70%)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Experience in developing business plans and market opportunities.
