Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights: 
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Flexible
  • Manage financial records and reporting for three distinct business entities
  • Oversee tax preparation and filing processes, including liaison with external CPAs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive financial overviews and progress tracking systems
  • Assist in contract management and ensure proper documentation for all financial matters
  • Support administrative needs related to business operations and growth initiatives


Responsibilities :
  • Manage bookkeeping for multiple businesses (two LLCs and one C Corp)

  • Handle and organize contracts, ensuring all necessary documents are in place for financials

  • Coordinate with CPAs to organize taxes and oversee tax return processes

  • Create and maintain comprehensive financial overviews using Google Sheets

  • Track progress of financial tasks and documentation across all businesses

  • Communicate with attorneys when necessary for legal and financial matters

  • File annual state filings and other regulatory documents

  • Assist in administrative tasks related to the businesses’ operations


Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative assistance, preferably 3+ years

  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and comfort with various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain efficient systems

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify and address needs

  • Familiarity with multi-state tax regulations and filings is a plus

  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness when handling sensitive financial information

  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
