Marketing Cloud Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role involves collaborating with marketing, sales, and IT teams to deliver effective solutions that drive customer engagement and improve marketing effectiveness.

• Design and Implement Campaigns: Create personalized email and multi-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools like Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Content Builder.
  
• Manage Customer Journeys: Develop and optimize complex customer journeys for targeted marketing efforts, ensuring engagement across various digital touchpoints.
  
• Utilize Data for Segmentation: Use SQL, AMPscript, and data extensions to segment audiences and tailor messaging based on customer data and behavior.
  
• Integrate with Salesforce and Other Platforms: Set up integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales, Service), and third-party platforms via APIs.
  
• Automation and Workflow Optimization: Build automation workflows in Automation Studio to streamline marketing processes and increase operational efficiency.
  
• Content Customization: Develop dynamic and responsive content using AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to personalize communications.
  
• Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track campaign performance, run A/B tests, and use analytics to provide actionable insights for improvement.
  
• Data Management and Compliance: Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
  
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with marketing, IT, and creative teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  
• Maintain Documentation and Best Practices: Keep documentation up-to-date and implement marketing automation best practices to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• 4+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  
• Proficiency in AMPscript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  
• Experience with Marketing Cloud APIs (REST, SOAP).
  
• Strong understanding of data extensions, segmentation, and targeting.
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Specialist certification.
  
• Experience with Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service) and CRM integration.
  
• Familiarity with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
  
• Knowledge of email deliverability and marketing automation trends.
  
• Skills in HTML/CSS email compatibility testing.
