Special Scientist / Instructor - Web Programming

Cyprus College Limassol is seeking to fill part time positions of Special Scientists/Instructors for its “Computer Science and Computing programs”.  We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic professionals to teach in the following discipline:

• Web Programming

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow the learning and teaching processes as directed by the decisions of the College’s Council.
• Adhere to the academic learning model set by the College and deliver the curriculum accordingly.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students in their education at the College.
• Collaborate with other College departments that have an impact on students’ learning experience and curriculum implementation.
• Conduct comprehensive courses on web programming, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/Python and frameworks.
• Guide students in developing web applications and understanding industry standards.
• Prepare course content to ensure practical and theoretical balance.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related area.
• Practical experience in full-stack web development.
• Ability to teach modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Effective communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Technology-oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Very good interpersonal skills.
• Innovative.
• Team worker.
• Emotionally intelligent.
