Position Overview:
Certchain is seeking an experienced User Acceptance Tester (UAT) with a focus on SaaS platforms and mobile applications to join our team. The UAT professional will be responsible for validating that our software solutions meet business requirements, user needs, and perform as expected. This role is crucial in ensuring that Certchain’s SaaS and mobile solutions deliver an exceptional user experience and meet quality standards before they go live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive UAT test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate Certchain’s SaaS and mobile applications against user requirements and business goals.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into test cases.
- User Scenario Validation: Execute test scenarios that mimic real-world usage of the SaaS and mobile platforms, identifying potential usability issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting: Log and document defects, issues, and inconsistencies found during testing using issue-tracking tools, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, QA, and customer support, to ensure alignment on testing goals and resolve any discrepancies.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- User Feedback Incorporation: Assist in gathering and incorporating user feedback from pilot groups and beta users, and support end-user training and documentation, as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the UAT process and contribute to the overall improvement of product quality and user satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a User Acceptance Tester (UAT), particularly for SaaS platforms and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, test management tools, and issue-tracking software such as JIRA or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS platforms and mobile application testing, including cross-platform and cross-device testing.
- Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation.
- Experience with manual testing; knowledge of automated testing frameworks is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of AI and blockchain technology is a plus but not required.
Salary: 120,000 to 140,000 PHP
