Instructional Design Senior Associate

We are looking for an Instructional Design Senior Associate to join our Commercial Training and Enablement team within our Marketing division. In this role, the Instructional Design Senior Associate will work to support a tenured team of L&D professionals, scaling their impact with high-quality eLearning experiences, innovative learning solutions, and effective content and knowledge management strategies.

The Commercial Training and Enablement Team’s mission is to drive excellence and consistency in value-messaging, role-readiness, and athenaOne education for our Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing audiences. This team creates and supports internal employee development and performance via highly customized new hire and strategic ongoing enablement programming.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a collection of eLearning programs using Articulate Rise, Storyline, and other tools
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal/Compliance
  • Project manage iterative eLearning development/review cycles for new programs and updates to existing programs
  • Support our team trainers for instructor-led program activity content and multimedia experiences
  • Curate, update, and review content in our knowledge management systems, Cornerstone LMS, SharePoint, etc.
  • Partner with additional Enablement teams to stand up and maintain our new Sales Enablement Platform
  • Support the team with migrations to new tools, technologies, processes, and solutions as our tech stack evolves

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (L&D, HR, etc)  required
  • 3+ years of professional experience designing learning programs and supporting eLearning development cycles
  • Proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline 360 (providing work samples would be a plus!)
  • Degree in Instructional Design or a related field, or a certificate program
  • Background or experience in healthcare IT concepts and terminology
  • Advanced visual design skills or intention to build these skills
  • Experience working with HTML/JavaScript/CSS, or willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in editing video and audio
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Experience with admin workflows in a knowledge management system and/or enablement platform
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into engaging learning experiences
  • Excellent project management, writing, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with a service-oriented mindset
  • Passion about instructional design as a discipline, with a desire to learn, innovate, and grow
