South College is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the development of an Associate of Science in Vascular and Adult Echocardiography program. The SME will provide leadership, expertise, and guidance in preparing and submitting the program proposal to SACSCOC. The position requires an immediate start, with an initial contract running from the hiring date through December 2024, with the potential for extension based on program needs.

· Complete and submit the SACSCOC documentation with all attachments.
· Responsible for management/storage/sharing of files/folder/etc. (shared folders & Emails).
· The SME candidate could be considered for the Concentration Coordinator position after approval has been received by SACSCOC.
Requirements
Candidates must evidence the following:
· Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
· American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Certification in Vascular (VT) and Adult Echocardiography (AE).
· Must possess current licensure and certifications.
· Minimum two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer in vascular sonography and adult echocardiography.
· Provide expert guidance and insights to align curriculum with industry standards and best practices.
· Previous experience in education or curriculum development is a plus.
· Contribute to program design that fosters student success in clinical and diagnostic skills.
· Ensure course content reflects the latest advancements in vascular and adult echocardiography.
· Familiarity with planning, assessment, and evaluation process.
· Support accreditation and compliance processes by providing specialized knowledge in the field
