Responsibilities


We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Sales Associate who is interested in the world of healthcare to join our dynamic sales team.  As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a crucial role in generating new leads, supporting the sales team, and building relationships with potential clients. If you’re fearless and welcome the challenge to successfully execute finding new business and the steps of the sales process through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, etc., then this role may be the right fit for you! By learning our consultative selling process and assisting with meetings, demonstrations, and other follow-up work you will become prepared for a long-term career in the world of healthcare sales.  This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone eager to launch their career in the sales industry. This entry-level position provides valuable opportunities for growth and professional development within the company, with the potential to advance into an outside sales role as opportunities arise.


Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Development of Knowledge and Skills

    • Product knowledge – understand the features, benefits and key differentiators of the Pieces

    • Application knowledge – understand the costs, shortcomings and risks associated with current processes and products that hospital prospects may be using

    • Company knowledge – understand the history, background and experience and why we are the best choice for potential customers

    • Sales skills – understand consultative selling and key activities that are part of our solution/alternative sales process

  • Execution of the Sales Process

    • Follow the sales process to penetrate target accounts and develop the top of the sales funnel

  • Actively problem solve with the Sr Leadership Team (ie. Sales, Client Success, Clinical Services) to strategize on ways to drive the deals forward and close them

  • Assist with lead generation, then follow up to qualify the leads

  • Evaluate prospective customer capabilities and needs, and builds productive long lasting relationships

  • Provide consultation to prospective clients on utilization of the Pieces platform, offering thought partnership on clinical workflows and protocols

  • Develop compelling value propositions for prospective clients and communicate them effectively using multiple communication channels (e.g. calls, emails, in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, etc.)

  • Meet personal and team sales targets 

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute on digital lead generation & contents for sales collaterals

  • Achievement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives and assigned activities 

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and data in Hubspot

  • Utilize business intelligence and sales analysis tools and reports to manage, assess, and maximize opportunities

  • Develop working relationships with staff cross-functionally so that the most effective solutions are used in coordination of the sales process, and to provide a full range of support effectively and efficiently during the sales process 

  • Attend and participate in all required meetings

  • Participation as requested in customer meetings, conferences, go-lives, etc.

Requirements


We’re looking for a Sales Associate who’s passionate about using technology to help the most vulnerable. You’re someone who believes the right data can help build better one-to-one relationships with communities in need of extra support. You have expertise in the following areas:


  • Bachelor’s degree required - in Business, Sales, Healthcare or Marketing strongly preferred.

  • Ability to execute the sales process in a virtual setting (cold calls, cold emails, virtual meetings, etc.)

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Self-starter and ability to learn quickly on your own 

  • Experience with Google Suite and Hubspot, or other sales tools like Yesware preferred. 

  • Exposure to healthcare or social-service agency environments are a plus

  • Strong work ethic, demonstrated commitment to details, organization and time management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with customers and staff

  • Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment

  • Ability to travel if necessary

We are a hybrid office, offering a mix of remote and in-office work. For this role, employees are required to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
