Job description

As a Veterinary Imaging Account Manager (VIAM) for the Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for the account management of 300-400 customers in an assigned geographic territory using our Web PACS, Telemedicine and CardioPet products.  This role will be responsible for inspiring customer loyalty (retention) and accountable for Telemedicine utilization growth, identifying new Telemedicine and Web PAC opportunities for referral to the Veterinary Imaging Consultant (VIC), and monitoring Web PAC study counts to identify subscription tier upgrade opportunities.  This role will have a high reach and frequency of customer interactions via phone and email.  You will provide end-to-end subject matter expertise to our customer base.  You will support our existing customer base over the phone or video conferencing within an assigned territory.

In this Veterinary Imaging Account Manager role:

  • You will be responsible for case submissions and account management for Radiology, Cardiology, Web PACS tier upgrades, Dental attachments.

  • You will deliver on quarterly goals, inspiring account revenue growth.

  • You will provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts to sales leaders.

  • You will negotiate price, case volumes and terms and conditions. 

  • You will maintain Salesforce with timely and accurate profiles, notes and opportunity information.

  • You will create and maintain strategic relationships that gain loyalty and develop a strong understanding of accounts' core business objectives.

  • You will develop strategic internal partnerships across multiple lines of business.

  • You will work in close partnership with Sales and Marketing Leaders to create and implement short and long-term strategies to help meet sales goals and revenue objectives. You will need to understand and promote new offerings. 

  • You will prepare general reports and other account planning information that summarizes work activities and sales results for your assigned book of business. You will prepare various analyses as needed to highlight issues and resolve questions.

  • You will engage and play an active role in working with Sales Leaders and Line of Business to further develop best practices in how we sell, market, onboard and support our customers.   

What you need to succeed?

  • 3-5+ years of successful inside sales experience. Animal health/veterinary or human healthcare industry preferred.

  • Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required.

  • Ability to negotiate and close sales.

  • Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly.

  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information.

  • Highly motivated and goal oriented.

  • Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook). 

Travel:

  • You are able to travel overnight, if needed and potentially work weekends, if needed to attend tradeshows or other occasional meetings.

  • May visit Veterinary Clinics
