SALARY: £73,262 - £86,190

LOCATION: Leeds/ Edinburgh

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Our Platform anchor day for office attendance is Monday, with flexibility around the remaining day.

This role will enable you to be at the very centre of this transformation, defining not only how we best utilise our technology to support our colleagues, but also how we can build and grow our colleagues skills. Our team is charged with making LBG a cool place to work, wherever you work, by connecting colleagues with the latest technology and tools and providing a first class user experience for IT help and support.

What we're looking for

Here in the Collaboration Lab, we're on a mission to transform colleague's engagement with, and consumption of technology via the products we enable.

We're seeking a Technical Product Owner in our Collaboration Lab who will drive the creation of innovative solutions for our colleagues’ journeys engaging with IT; working in conjunction with our Customer Journey Managers, Integrators, Data Analysts  and Engineers to design, develop , refine  and support solutions that further platform capability and exploitation as an enterprise suite, in a highly collaborative, Agile environment.

What exactly will I focus on in this role?

You'll be responsible for the release of incremental value contributing towards a holistic product with the main goal of realising value for our colleagues by ensuring that the team are working on the right priorities. This is achieved by fostering collaborative, empowered teams, nurturing them to take ownership of the relevant outcomes. As well as stimulating innovation and mitigating risk by conducting data driven test and learn activities.

We're looking for someone to join our team who possesses curiosity, attention to detail, and passion for utilising technology to transform our organisation.

Experience we're after:

  • In depth knowledge of products from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco and Google to build out our offerings and identify partnership opportunities in the market to solve colleague problems.

  • Industry knowledge of new and emerging technologies in the Real Time Collaboration space both internally with colleagues and externally with vendors and 3rd party collaborators.

  • Product Owner experience of leading teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving forward a clear product vision, shape and manage product backlogs with a focus on achieving agreed outcomes and deliverables.

  • Significant experience with agile development methods & tooling e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence

  • Experience in implementing new processes/ways of working

  • Experience working with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver change

  • Experience tackling complex problems and breaking them out into a roadmap of viable solutions.

  • Financial management including budget tracking

  • Experience of crafting a phenomenal team environment that attracts and retains talent

  • Experience of financial planning and cost control: a track record of delivering within budget and using resources effectively

  • Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organisation

  • Strong on dependency management and effective resolution
