About this Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to
work closely with specific business units, providing strategic HR support to align operations with the company goals and culture. You’ll manage HR processes, ensure compliance, and promote a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role focuses on enhancing performance management, talent development, and employee engagement in a high-performing, high-growth work environment while using data-driven insights to support decisions and foster a thriving workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned departments, supporting departmental goals and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and promoting an inclusive, collaborative work culture.
- Support performance management by collaborating with line managers on setting objectives, conducting reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Lead and enhance onboarding processes to ensure effective knowledge sharing, cultural integration, and team cohesion.
- Drive employee engagement through surveys, feedback sessions, workshops, and department-specific training programs.
- Identify and address training and development needs to align with organizational growth and skill enhancement goals.
- Manage employee relations by addressing queries, handling HR procedures, and resolving conflicts to foster a positive workplace.
- Ensure HR policies and employee documents comply with local employment laws, adapting policies to department-specific needs around shift work and workplace conduct.
- Oversee health, safety, and well-being initiatives to create a safe, supportive work environment focused on employee wellness.
- Utilize HRIS to manage employee data, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making and workforce planning.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) preferred
- 5+ years of HR experience, including roles in management
- Strong proficiency with HR Information Systems is a must-have. (e.g., BambooHR, Workday/ similar)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office) including spreadsheets, documents, and PowerPoint. Advanced skills are a distinct advantage
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and compliance regulations in the UK is a must. Experience working with other global employment laws would give a distinct advantage
- Skilled in workforce planning
- Experienced in performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration
- Proficient in developing and implementing training programs to support employee growth
- Strong people analytics skills a distinct advantage
- Must have the ability to travel regularly to several sites in the UK, with ad-hoc travel to Northern Europe as required.

- Knowledge of and experience with TUPE will be an advantage
- Qualifications in mediation will be an advantage
