The Role
Our mission is to make business operations more efficient, saving time for the billions of people we touch. As a rapidly scaling company, we’re looking for high-caliber Account Executives to drive excellence in sales and help us expand globally.
As a Bird Account Executive (AE), you will be responsible for owning the entire sales process—from prospecting to closing deals—and delivering measurable results. This role demands someone who is intellectually curious, driven to succeed, and capable of understanding complex business needs while positioning Bird’s CRM, Email, and Transactional solutions as the optimal fit.
You will work closely with Sales Managers, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure clients receive tailored, high-impact solutions. Excellence is expected in every interaction, and growth will be earned through performance.
What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, targeted campaigns, and strategic networking.
Leverage industry knowledge to identify prospects that will benefit from Bird’s offerings, particularly in CRM, Email, and Transactional Sales.
Use advanced sales tools, including CRM software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to manage leads effectively.
Sales Process Mastery:
Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to negotiation and closing deals, ensuring that Bird’s value proposition is clear at every stage.
Customize presentations and proposals to address client-specific needs, demonstrating how Bird’s solutions can optimize their operations.
Negotiate complex, high-value deals while maintaining a focus on long-term client success.
Quota Achievement and Revenue Growth:
Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas through intelligent deal structuring and strategic relationship-building.
Focus on driving sustainable revenue growth by understanding client needs and aligning Bird’s offerings to deliver value.
Strategic Account Planning:
Develop and execute detailed account plans that outline key opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and renewal.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff to Customer Success and continued client satisfaction.
Ensure you deliver consistent value to customers by anticipating their evolving needs.
Excellence in Client Engagement:
Cultivate meaningful relationships with prospects and clients by asking intelligent questions, listening actively, and tailoring solutions.
Present Bird’s solutions clearly, demonstrating how our platform can streamline business processes and drive operational efficiency.
Conduct detailed product demonstrations that illustrate the full value of Bird’s AI-powered platform.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver the best customer experience possible.
Share insights with internal teams to help refine Bird’s go-to-market strategy and continuously improve our offerings.
Be a thought leader within the sales organization, setting an example through work ethic, results, and intelligence.
What you’ll bring
3+ years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in CRM, marketing automation, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and experience with multi-stakeholder deals, including engagements with C-suite executives.
Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning—willing to dive deep into Bird’s solutions and industry trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions in a simple, compelling way.
Proficiency with CRM software, sales enablement tools, and pipeline management platforms.
A strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute account growth strategies effectively.
