THE ROLE:


We are looking for a Director of Marketing and Communications to create and deliver a cohesive international B2B4P marketing and communications strategy that allows us to grow by working with the BD sales teams to build a larger and more profitable pipeline; by engaging fully with the Business Development and Delivery Teams to strategically align our solutions to the needs of our clients; and by working throughout the wider organisation to create a valuable brand which is recognised globally as the largest, fastest-growing, leading pan-European specialist pharma and biotech management consultancy with a unique offering of services and capabilities focused on steering innovative products through the complex medical, regulatory and market access landscape, to maximise success in Europe.

This is a full time virtual role, although occasional national and international travel (Europe) will be required to attend in person team or company meetings and events.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing and communications experience in a global pharma, biotech or life science organisation.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, including regulatory and market access landscapes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple functions, while delivering own projects as well.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, compelling messages for all stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Willing to familiarise yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required for effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders.


Desirable Skills:


  • Extensive experience in the creative and strategic development of successful international organisations and brands with an understanding of how to create and manage highly targeted below-the-line, direct, experiential, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of the international aspects of our industry with the ability to reach beyond marketing knowledge to generate innovative approaches with potentially significant long-term impact that help drive the development of market-leading products and services within a coherent and structured architecture.
