Job description

Your Team & Role:

The Business Development Representative role is responsible for creating inbound opportunities through cold email, cold calls, networking, and social selling and identifying and qualifying leads from marketing campaigns, company website, events as sales opportunities.

Your day to day:
  • Prospect Leads
  • Create inbound opportunities through cold email, cold calls, networking, and social selling.
  • Develop creative, targeted outreach campaigns to engage decision-makers and key influencers to expand awareness of Zadara’s key differentiators.
  • Evaluate potential inbound leads to determine if the company reaching out is a good fit for our products or services.
  • Drive outbound prospecting, hunt for leads that can convert right away.
  • Ensure every channel is optimized, and leverage them to provide a constant flow of leads.
  • Qualify Leads
  • Acts as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. 
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns, company website, events as sales opportunities.
  • Setting Appointments
  • Strategize on creative ways of getting in touch with the person in charge.
  • Work with the sales team to understand the interests and needs of potential clients to help make pitches sharper.
  • Schedule appointments between qualified leads and the sales team.
  • Reporting
  • Report on progress towards hitting quotas to sales leadership. Quota goals may include leads generated, appointments set, and deals closed.
  • Utilize Salesforce for ongoing record keeping and reporting.
  • Staying Informed
  • Stay up-to-date on Zadara’s products, services, and general industry trends.


  • What you bring:
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a sales focused role
  • Software, Cloud or technology related experience. 
  • Experience in and comfortable with pro-actively prospecting and managing outbound (Intent Based) engagement with target accounts.
  • Confident communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle objections and rejection.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
