Oracle EPM Cloud Planning Solutions Architect in our Corporate Performance Management National Business Unit.

The role of the Solutions Architect is for individuals passionate about identifying and delivering the right business solution for each client. Our Solutions Architects have a keen business orientation with an understanding of how technology can be effectively applied to meet a variety of business needs.
Solutions Architects fill a number of different roles on our project teams working with a variety of technologies for a wide range of clients. The specific responsibilities vary for each client and each project. Key to the success of our Solutions Architects is the willingness and desire to quickly learn the client’s industry and the unique requirements of each engagement and to fill the leadership role to determine what may be required to best support our client’s needs.
A Solutions Architect thrives in challenging environments and accomplishes difficult assignments without significant supervision and instruction. Our Consultants can handle the stress of being accountable for delivery and: complete goals on time, practice strong attention to detail, persevere through tough obstacles, and do not get easily discouraged.
Responsibilities
The Solutions Architect is a key delivery point of contact and will be involved in the strategic planning of an engagement or helping the client make decisions about their future IT direction. Once a project has begun, the Solutions Architect will facilitate key requirements with stakeholders and customers using standard and User Experience techniques. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for the team’s creation of functional designs, detailed designs and system mapping, wireframes, requirement specifications, and prototypes.
The Solutions Architect works directly with Project Managers and assists with daily operations exercising time management, communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The Solutions Architect will interface with Perficient technical and business delivery personnel, as well as vendors and customers on a regular basis. Will mentor junior Consultants.
The Oracle Cloud Planning Solutions Architect is responsible for working on implementations of the Oracle Hyperion EPM Planning/PBCS/EPBCS applications for Perficient clients.
As a Oracle Cloud Planning Solutions Architect, you will be working as part of a project team that includes a Perficient Project Manager as well as client personnel, including C-level executives. This position includes both technical consultants responsible for infrastructure, customization, and integration of Oracle applications; as well as functional consultants who possess a deep understanding of corporate accounting concepts including: financial reporting, budgeting and planning, allocations, and consolidations.
Qualifications
The Oracle Cloud Planning Solutions Architect will have a strong background in the following applications:
- Oracle EPM Cloud, focus in PBCS and EPBCS
- Oracle Hyperion Planning
- Oracle Hyperion Essbase
- Oracle Hyperion SmartView
- 7+ years experience with the above mentioned Hyperion products
- 2+ years with ERP accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Great Plains, etc
- Bachelors degree in accounting, CPA, or MBA
- Experience in the financial budgeting and forecasting processes, including allocations and driver-based calculations
- Ability to create both financial statements and management reporting for public and private companies
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS accounting standards
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including data reconciliations
- Previous consulting experience a plus
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,500 to $175,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
