JOB TITLE: Web Content Administrator

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ ATR
LOCATION: Remote
SHIFT: 11:00AM-7:00PM EST
POSITION TIMING: Position requires DOJ Public Trust clearance; candidate can start once complete (4-6 weeks)

The Department of Justice, Antitrust Division’s Web Services (WSS) team is looking for an experienced Web Content Administrator (WCA) that is detail oriented and passionate about Section 508 accessibility.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using source material to generate PDFs, HTML, Word, and other document types to DOJ/ATR’s Internet and intranet websites.
- Editing HTML files to add and change applicable links and content
- Creating, reviewing, and editing documents using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe products to ensure compliance with Section 508 / 504 and WCAG 2.2 requirements for accessibility
- Working with internal customers, WSS designers, and other team members to review, test, and provide feedback on developed web pages to ensure adherence to accessibility standards and requirements
- Using OCR software to convert imaged documents, allowing them to then be made Section 508 compliant
- Preparing or assist in preparing, text descriptions to aid in accessibility remediation efforts
- Reviewing broken link reports, fixing broken links across the ATR public-facing and intranet sites, and maintaining link reporting statistics
- Working with division staff and web design, development, and quality assurance staff to satisfy user requirements and comply with division, department, and Federal Government web standards
- Documenting and maintaining processes, procedures, and other information used to guide WSS remediation efforts
- Providing occasional on call or after-hours support for Web postings during high-profile trials, emergency situations, etc.
- Leveraging tools including MS Office, MS365, MS Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud products, and other documentation/508-related tools
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of related web design experience with a Bachelors degree in Math, Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited college or university or 2+ or more years applied experience without a degree
- Understanding of HTML and basic PHP concepts
- Experience defining, reviewing, and compiling analytics and other task-related reporting information
- Experience documenting tasks and information using Jira, Confluence, and/or SharePoint
- Experience providing customer-facing support in a fast-paced and occasionally deadline-driven environment is a plus
- Experience image/graphic creation for use in web and social media
- Experience editing Drupal content other content management editing experience.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to obtain a DOJ public trust clearance
