Role Overview
At Nexoom, we aim to bring great streaming entertainment to people around the world.
Our innovative product, ection.tv, is the ultimate live multi-streaming platform that allows users to create, customize, and share their own video playlists. 
 
ection.tv allows users to watch multiple live streams simultaneously. It empowers them to discover new content and join a vibrant community as they create, customize, share their playlists, and join ones curated by others!
 
We are looking for a motivated and goal-driven Product growth expert who will help bring the product to market by providing expertise, guidance, and leadership across multiple areas, from influencing the product roadmap to marketing, sales, ad-sales, commercial agreements, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition activities for ection.tv. 
You will be the champion of the product internally and externally. 
 
You will need to understand the product in the finest details, and understand the usage and the opportunities the product brings to end users, creators and brands.  Have a growth mindset where success is abundant, and strategically explore opportunities and avenues for growth. Share your previous customer wins with a high-value proposition so your team wins. Be customer-centric! You will devise strategies for growth, propose improvements, take decisions that bring business value.
 
You will be a vital contributor to strategic decisions based on your evaluation of our business direction. You will be a forward-thinking leader, innovative, and help other team leaders. You will also be a business strategist! These are the primary attributes for systematically pinpointing opportunities, allocating resources, and managing the end-to-end innovation process. 
 
The ideal Director of Product Growth will of course be innovative, data-driven, creative, analytical, and knowledgeable in using technology to build and manage an extensive business growth plan.
Responsibilities

 
  • Work closely with the CEO to successfully launch and scale new entertainment initiatives and programs for ection.tv, creating value for both creators and users and to generate revenue.
  • To negotiate with Sponsor Brands and define viable business opportunities 
  • Work closely with commercial, marketing, and product teams to share insights and experiences that helped you succeed in your previous roles.
  • Be hands-on with team leaders to help grow the business, ection.tv customer base. Be proactive
  • Devise strategies for Marketing teams as well as Sales and business development strategies.
  • Liaise with the Product, Marketing, and Sales departments on maintaining and adjusting our brand image.
  • Craft winning pitches with the Marketing department
  • Ensure there is consistency across the brand's touchpoints
  • Foster collaboration and understanding of our goals across all business departments
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments
  • Collect market trends information to facilitate our company’s growth strategies
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business
  • Has launched new products before, has previous product growth experience in start-up/scale-up environments. Go to Market expertise.
  • Coming from a similar industry with a critical understanding of live-streaming influencer marketing, gaming, Twitch, YouTube or other live-streaming platforms experience.
  • Be passionate about empowering creators to reach their full potential and connect with their fans in meaningful ways.
  • Experience with GSuite, Slack, Hubspot, Jira
  • Experience with working in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and partnerships with stakeholders
  • Competence in project management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, written and verbal skills
  • Great time management skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English and another language is a bonus
