Manager, Accounting

What you’ll do at Jamf:

The Manager, Accounting will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operational accounting function of all assigned entities. The Manager and their team will be responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of the general ledger. They will take ownership of complex accounting areas and review the work of their team.

This role is in the Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

• Manage the general ledger and accounts payable functions for assigned entities
• Oversee all accounting transactions and processes including general ledger transactions, journal entries, reconciliations and month/year-end close for assigned entities
• Ensure that all statutory audit deadlines are met and all statutory regulations are adopted
• Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and forecasts
• Assist the tax team with local compliance matters as needed
• Work closely with the global accounts payable and general ledger teams to maintain consistent processes and controls
• Manage assigned statutory audits and work with other stakeholders as needed to provide supporting documentation
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the accounting team
• Perform continuous analysis of internal controls and process efficiency within the accounting function to ensure compliance
• Assist Director of Accounting with special projects and other duties as assigned

What we are looking for: 

• A minimum of 5 years progressive accounting and leadership experience 
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION

• 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related fields (Required)
• Qualified accountant with a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA or similar)
• Combination of relevant work or education may be considered.
