<title>About the role</title>

As the Global Head of Account Management, you will oversee a central team of 3 members and matrix-manage over 100 members locally across multiple regions. You will be focusing on portfolio management, churn prevention, revenue growth, and building strong relationships with merchants of all sizes (SMB, MM, Enterprise).
In addition to that, you will drive segmentation strategies and campaign initiatives aimed at increasing merchant investment and optimizing their success on the platform.

- <point>Portfolio & Merchant Success Strategy: Develop and execute a global strategy for portfolio management, ensuring merchants are engaged and positioned for growth. Focus on reducing churn, increasing revenue, and optimizing merchant performance across all segments (SMB, MM, Enterprise).</point>
- <point>Team Leadership & Matrix Management: Lead a central Merchant Success team of 3 FTEs while managing a broader team of 100+ FTEs globally through a matrix structure. Ensure alignment on goals, processes, and merchant outcomes across different regions.</point>
- <point>Churn Prevention & Merchant Retention: Implement churn prevention strategies and programs aimed at improving merchant satisfaction and retention. Identify at-risk merchants and collaborate with local teams to develop tailored interventions.</point>
- <point>Revenue Growth & Merchant Investment: Drive initiatives to grow merchant revenue, including upselling, cross-selling, and participation in key campaigns. Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to design and manage campaigns that drive merchant investment in the platform.</point>
- <point>Merchant Segmentation & Targeting: Implement segmentation strategies to tailor approaches for different merchant tiers (SMB, MM, Enterprise). Develop and refine merchant success models to ensure the best outcomes based on their size, industry, and region.</point>
- <point>Provide long-term vision and build a solid culture within Account Management global and local teams. Consider market trends and particularities, overall business goals and direction, and competitive landscape to build a high-performance culture.</point>

- <point>You bring 8+ years of experience in global/regional commercial roles, including account management, or revenue management. Prior experience in marketplace business fundamentals, particularly on the merchant/seller side would be preferred.</point>
- <point>You have a proven ability to drive revenue growth, reduce churn, and build strong relationships.</point>
- <point>You possess strong leadership experience, including managing teams both directly and through a matrix structure.</point>
- <point>You have excellent data analysis skills, with a bias towards making data-driven decisions.</point>
- <point>You are a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work across teams and regions.</point>
- <point>You bring organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.</point>
