TSYS is rapidly expanding our network of strategic partners and strengthening ecosystem value with existing partners. Our Strategic Partnerships team drives diverse partner models with both traditional and fintech players, bringing “first in kind” partnerships to life. We are seeking talented individuals to join our Strategic Partnerships team to strategically steer successful profit-driven, high impact partnerships across global ecosystem players, to include Visa, Mastercard and Amazon Web Services.
Position Summary:
Guides and undertakes business development efforts of prospective partners and existing partners. Plans, identifies, and executes due diligence and implementation of strategic business development objectives. Researches, evaluates, and manages new strategic business opportunities, entry into niche or new geographic markets, new business platforms, major segment initiatives, and key partnerships pursuant to the mid- to long-range strategic plans of the segment and enterprise.
What Role Will You Play?
Provide support to Strategic Partnerships team during various phases of the partnership lifecycle, to achieve stated revenue and/or market share growth strategies by creating, reviewing, and/or leading the creation of proposal materials for prospective and existing partners, facilitating preliminary call activities, performing research, presentation preparation, compiling and/or developing collateral materials, and/or meeting preparation/follow-up
Facilitate the development of the partnership strategies and co-selling activities with inter-company departments and other partners.
Identify new industry partnerships and support the engagement process from prospecting through contract execution.
Work in close liaison with Marketing, Sales and/or Product Owners to gather information and materials for partner offerings.
Assist management with the coordination of Strategic Partnerships Team activity that may not directly involve a partner/prospective partner such as team education, trade show participation, etc.
Lead the creation and review of reports and reporting updates of partner activities in the pipeline to ensure appropriate responses to requests from members of the Strategic Partnerships Team and/or Senior Management.
Compile information and prepares reporting of strategic partner activities and key metrics for management to present to executive leadership (e.g. providing updates to the company's Board of Directors).
Create, assist, review, and present information to internal/external executives, and/or partners.
Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on the current product/service portfolio and changes/developments within the payments industry.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all applications, modules, offerings, and/or systems that are being supported by the supported Strategic Partnerships team

Relevant Experience or Degree in: No degree Specified
Typically Minimum 6+ Years Relevant Experience
Experience using Salesforce or similar technology
Travel: 10% for internal meetings, partner meetings and conferences
Preferred Qualifications:
Typically minimum of 8+ years relevant experience
Payments industry experience in a business development or partnership role (fintech, financial services, card networks)
MBA or advanced degree
