HRIS Project Manager II

As an HRIS Project Manager II, you will manage moderately complex projects of small to medium size as well as project budgets, schedules, scope, quality and risk to achieve business objectives. 
 

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 4:30pm.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Interface with the ITD program manager/director in the definition of project. 

  • Develop project charter and track performance to charter. 

  • Lead communication and change management for all levels of the affected organizations. 

  • Conduct needs assessments, determine planning and management requirements and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) design and evaluation. 

  • Ensure appropriate project plans are developed, scope and deliverable are defined, resources are secured, and expectations are set. 

  • Monitor and review work plans. 

  • Assess implications of schedule changes. 

  • Provide team leads with the tools to complete deliverables. 

  • Prepare workflow analysis, project discovery and business cases. 

  • Provide technology vendor management and oversight during project life cycle. 

  • Obtain ITIL Foundations certification within six months of employment.  


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.  

  • Four years of project management experience. Additional project management experience may substitute the bachelor’s degree requirement.  


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Project management experience in implementing technical projects related to HR technologies.  

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or a certificate in project management from an accredited college. 

  • Experience working in a technical environment and healthcare organization.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
