What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Channel Partnerships Lead to drive and manage Canva’s reseller and marketplace partnerships on a global scale. This role is central to expanding Canva’s reach through third-party sales channels and platforms, focusing on building relationships that deliver measurable business impact. The successful candidate will lead the development, execution, and management of partnerships with key resellers and digital marketplaces, ensuring these relationships contribute to Canva’s growth objectives and revenue targets.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Reseller & Marketplace Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy for reseller and marketplace partnerships that aligns with Canva’s overarching business goals.
- Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Oversee the end-to-end structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex agreements with key resellers and marketplace partners.
- Global Partnership Management: Establish and nurture deep, long-term relationships with strategic reseller and marketplace partners at the executive level.
- Performance Optimization & Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and manage a robust framework for tracking and measuring partnership success. You will define key performance metrics, analyze partner performance, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize partnership efficiency and maximize revenue generation.
- Global Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Maintain a deep understanding of global market trends, emerging opportunities, and the competitive landscape in the reseller and marketplace domains. Leverage these insights to position Canva as the preferred partner, driving innovation in partnership models and identifying new growth areas.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a growing team, with a focus on scaling the team as the partnership program grows. Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to the team, ensuring they are equipped to execute high-impact partnerships.
You're probably a match if you have:
- Extensive experience in senior partnership leadership roles, with significant expertise in global reseller and marketplace ecosystems in the technology or SaaS industries.
- Proven ability to drive significant revenue growth through strategic reseller and marketplace partnerships.
- Exceptional executive presence, negotiation, and deal-making skills, with experience leading complex, high-value agreements.
- Strong track record of managing global partnerships at scale, including experience with market-leading resellers and digital marketplaces.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution, with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in setting and monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.
