Job Description

The Member Relations Program Representative functions as a representative of Prospect Medical in the community. Individual will develop, plan, coordinate, and execute activities/events/materials such as New Member Orientations, Social Events, Workshops, Invitations/Flyers, and Greeting Cards to promote and educate members about Prospect Medical. Individual must ensure activities/events/materials remain within program budget. Responsible for conducting research and outreaching to partner companies/organizations to obtain co-sponsors for activities/events/materials (as applicable). Serve as a knowledgeable resource about Prospect Medical’s benefits, programs, and services. Individual must build and maintain strong business relationships internally and externally. Expected and empowered to carry out real-time conflict resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for tracking, processing, evaluating, and reporting on all executed activities/events/materials. Individual will perform outbound telephone calls to members regarding activities/events/materials to solicit participation. Individual will also accept inbound telephone calls from members returning outbound telephone calls. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as training and experience progresses

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and execute activities/events/materials such as New Member Orientations, social events, workshops, invitations/flyers, and greeting cards to promote and educate members about Prospect Medical and ProMed Health Care.
  • Conduct outbound telephone calls to members regarding activities/events/materials to solicit participation and RSVP.
  • Conduct research and outreach to partner companies/organizations to obtain co-sponsors for activities/events/materials (as applicable).
  • Coordinate with internal and external business partners to ensure activities/events/materials for Prospect Medical and ProMed Health Care are organized.
  • Coordinate with internal and external businesses to ensure activities/events/materials remain within program budget.
  • Promote activities/events/materials for Prospect Medical and ProMed Health Care to ensure attendance and event success including internal department notifications,
  • Tracking, processing, evaluating, and reporting new member orientation outcomes.
  • Communicate recurring issues and trends to management.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of IPA/HMO experience in Customer Service, Community Health, Marketing/Sales, or Public Relations. Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Programs (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast pace environment

Req. Certification/Licensure: Driver’s license and vehicle or other approved means of transportation required.
