POSITION SUMMARY: 


Are you ready for your next challenges? Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Brand Manager for Purina Pet Care business, based in our Sofia office, who will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to drive growth and enhance market presence. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing product portfolios, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of consumer insights, and a passion for the pet care industry. 


A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BRAND MANAGER:


BRAND PLANS
• Understand the overall PURINA ambition, objectives and strategies (Z-EUR and local)
 • Lead the annual local Brand Plans and calendars for strategic brands in line with Z-EUR Brand Plans


INNOVATION/RENOVATIONS
• Continuously builds expertise on E2E Innovation/renovation process
• Work to identify local opportunities, propose, get local approval from cross functional team, initiate and follow-up on the I2L process
• Has an in-depth knowledge of products from a nutritional point of view and conducts product training for veterinarians, customers and team members.


MARKET RESEARCH
• Develop a deep understanding of consumer / buyer behaviors, the competitive environment and its implications on the Brand, both online and offline
• With CMI support, performs and present to cross functional team deep research analysis. Identify corrective measures and propose actions aimed to bring efficiencies and effectiveness for the Brand
• Follows the performance indicators of the category, including market coverage, volume, value, level of penetration / impact, level of brand awareness.


COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGNS
• Localize and implement Z-EUR communication assets (advertising, packaging, PR & sponsorship) according to the Category and Brand strategy
• Initiate briefs to Z-EUR for local communication projects and after their alignment implement the Brand's projects on time and in line with the marketing plan
• Run pre an post-evaluation of campaigns and, where necessary, modifying the Brand Plan and calendar of activities for achieving the objectives.
• Communicates effectively with Sales, MDO, DSP, INANCE and other support departments, factory, agencies in connection with all initiatives related to the Brand


MEDIA
• Build the annual media briefing in line with Brand Plans and available budgets
• Based on guidance given by Purina Z-EUR, structure and optimize solid 360° campaigns across touch points, adopting media mix to local needs.  Media Plans approval and follow-up.

        
BUDGET
• Manage high level of PFME investments and complex calendar of initiatives
• Monitors / controls and coordinates the allocated budget (tracking, booking expenditure and impact of the actions related to that) while ensuing balanced PFME investment through full year, following Z-EUR guidance and principles.


E-BUSINESS
• Implement eBusiness local plans in collaboration with SEM eBusiness team and PURINA Studio (campaign materials and content, websites, e-commerce, CRM, SEM & SEO initiatives)

 
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL? 


•    3+ years experience in Brand Management  
•    Previous experience in digital (search, CRM, e-commerce)
•    University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related
•    Exceptional project management and attention to details  
•    Data driven mindset with experience using competitive analysis, user research and inustry trends to create marketing initiatives that convert
•    Demonstrated ability to work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful marketing campaigns and product launches
•    Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
•    Excellent level of English and Bulgarian language (written and spoken)
•    Good computer knowledge
