Job description

Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

You will partner closely with the Director, Global Learning & Development and the business, to develop and deliver a new strategy for our global teams, amplify existing initiatives and programs and help us innovate and think about what is best for now and right for tomorrow as Figma scales.

What you’ll do at Figma:
  • Lead both in-person and virtual learning and development sessions, serving as a coach and expert facilitator for a wide range of topics, including leadership development, team development, change readiness, soft skills, and assessments
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to assess learning needs for leaders and teams, creating impactful and scalable learning opportunities
  • Manage external vendors responsible for delivering learning content
  • Develop a common language and framework aligned with leadership expectations at Figma
  • Establish and integrate effective learning evaluation metrics and processes to ensure a data-driven approach to assessing learning needs and ROI
  • Experiment frequently and rapidly scale successful pilot programs to a global level
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 7+ years of experience in learning and development roles
  • Experience facilitating and coaching, both virtually and in person
  • A consistent track record of measuring impact and improving programs
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking, advising, mentoring, and coaching skills
  • Worked with third party vendors
  • Practical knowledge of learning technologies and innovative learning design
  • You are a skilled communicator who can attract and engage participants to programs as well as produce engaging content across multiple platforms
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
  • Coaching certification
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and manage tasks hands-on
  • Experience with tools like Asana, Workramp, and Panopto
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Experience working with global teams
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
