Your Job

To specify, As a Lead Developer, you will be the leader and technical specialist of our API Team. You will also develop and maintain Actirise's APIs projects. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs with your team and talents. You will manage complex projects (Big Data, ACL...) with a pragmatic approach.

Your mission at Actirise:

  • Own the API Platform
  • Develop amazing features
  • Ensure API integration is seamless, scalable, and adheres to security protocols
  • Implement efficient ACLs (Casbin)
  • Monitor the APIs
  • Manage the project(s), help defining the roadmap
  • Work together with other units in order to brainstorm, conceive and put new features into production according to the roadmap in place
  • Maintain existing features and improve them
  • Propose new tools and specifications in order to improve our way of working
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance on best practices & participation in code reviews
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation


Eventually, you will participate in several projects like:

  • Developing services needed for ads platform
  • Developing event oriented backend servicesOur stacks:
  • Backend : PHP 7/8, Composer, RESTful API, API Platform, Symfony 6/Phalcon, Redis, MariaDB, Node.js, Ruby
  • Frontend : JavaScript ES6, VueJS
  • Big data : BigQuery, Logstash, Kafka, Nginx, ML, Python, Redis
  • System : Kubernetes, CI/CD, Docker

Your profile for this job

  • Strong expertise in PHP, Symfony, and API Platform.
  • Proven experience leading development teams and delivering scalable APIs.
  • Deep understanding of security, authentication, and RESTful principles.
  • Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and optimizing API performance.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
