Position Overview
This position offers a unique opportunity to become a major contributor to a team dedicated to changing the lives of people with diabetes around the world. The successful candidate must be multilingual demonstrating high level of expertise in two of the required languages. Technically savvy using Android and iOS based phones as well as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of software testing is desirable. Your team will be based in US and Mexico, this can be a fully remote position conforming to the US EST time zone, time management and organization skills are musts.
Responsibilities
- Inspect translated text for context translation accuracy and errors.
- Review Software user interfaces, Documentations, User guide, Training material, Packaging, and other localized content for consistency, quality, and adherence to localization requirements.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within Insulet providing detailed feedback on translated screens and other materials.
- Foreign language research of certain medical terms and their proper use.
- Ability to make recommendations regarding cultural/localization issues affecting software products.
- Create and maintain terminology to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural conformity.
- Work closely with Development, Software testing, QA, and UX addressing changes and feedback.
- Work as part of a dynamic team on a wide variety of projects.
- Coordinate Internal review of screens and their localization.
- Log issues in Insulet bug tracking system (JIRA) and follow up on resolutions.
- Serve as main/backup linguistic expert for language translation.
- Understand the downstream impacts of localized screens on User guides, training, marketing, etc.
- Participate in meetings and provide status updates to direct reports and various stake holders.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Successful candidate must be fluent in at least two of the following languages: Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, and Romanian
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with common Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Highly detailed and organized.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with other team members.
- Motivated and able to learn fast.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with localization processes and technologies.
- Previous experience in software testing.
- Knowledge of two or more languages besides English (i.e. multilingual)
- Knowledge of linguistic concepts.
- Previous experience using JIRA.
Education and Experience
- BS degree in a relevant field or BA with 2 years' experience in localization related field

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $47.93 - $72.02. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
