POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager of Learning & Evaluation is the primary support for our Advising impact model. They will also support the Senior Director of Learning & Evaluation’s work across the organization.
The Learning & Evaluation team at uAspire supports our four impact models (Advising, Training, Policy, and Consulting) to set goals, measure and monitor success, and utilize data to make decisions and improve our outcomes. The team also supports other departments in the organization who need to utilize impact data for their work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Advising team’s evaluation & learning efforts (30%)
- Build strong relationships with the advising team and maintain a strong understanding of the advising program
- Maintain/improve evaluation-related Salesforce dashboards, and utilize Salesforce data to monitor and communicate progress to goals to the advising team
- Create and lead presentations and discussions with the advising team on key data; help develop tangible action steps to improve programmatic outcomes in partnership with the advising team
- Conduct regular data analysis utilizing Salesforce and occasionally conduct more advanced analysis (such as utilizing descriptive statistics) in Excel or other tools
- Support the Senior Manager of Curriculum Design to update evaluation processes as the curriculum shifts
- Work collaboratively with advising staff to update advising theory of change, program outcomes, and indicators
Lead efforts to increase student voice in program improvement processes (20%)
- Co-lead (alongside the Senior Manager of Curriculum Design) our Student Advisory Group, which consists of monthly meetings with ~15 students to learn how we can best improve our advising program
- Support with annual survey design and analysis
Co-op Management (20%)
- Manage our semester-long college internship program, including hiring and managing a new co-op student each semester; co-op students support with a variety of data projects at the organization
Support with data systems projects (20%)
- Support with advising data processing needs in collaboration with the Impact Operations team
- Support the annual process to collect and clean student enrollment, persistence, and graduation data through the National Student Clearinghouse
- Support with a variety of projects that help improve how Salesforce can be utilized for evaluation purposes
Cross-organizational support (10%)
- Improve upon and build new systems that ensure that our Partnerships and Advancement (fundraising) teams have easy access to advising metrics
- Help develop external-facing slides, summaries, visualizations, and talking points as needed
- Support the Senior Director of Learning & Evaluation with other impact teams’ annual learning and evaluation goals, including any in-depth analysis needed for Training, Consulting, and Policy impact models

Education, Experience & Skills:
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to communicate data to different stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using descriptive statistics
- Experience with data collection processes, including surveys or focus groups
- Strong organization skills, including project management
Additional Skills – experience with a couple of these would be a plus:
- Data visualization experience
- Experience with logic models/theory of change
- Experience with developing or improving program KPIs and outcomes
- Experience utilizing National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) data
- Experience in an organization that has conducted Randomized Control Trials (RCTs)

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $81,749. Salary commensurate with experience and education.
GRADE: IV
STATUS: non-exempt, full time
