This is a remote position.

We are searching for a Corporate Marketing Specialist to drive growth in the corporate space. They will be responsible for driving brand strategy and client acquisition through a range of channels, focusing on account-based marketing tactics, including:
  • Public Relations
  • Content Marketing (focused on thought leadership and case studies)
  • Product Marketing
  • Email Marketing (targeted campaigns for specific industries)
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Social Media Marketing (with a primary focus on LinkedIn)
  • In-client marketing

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create, execute and track digital marketing campaigns, across various channels, which are optimised for corporate clients
  • Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
  • Manage content development for promotional materials, websites, and presentations for clients
  • Plan and coordinate event sponsorships and partnerships
  • Utilise market research and internal data to identify marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor initiatives
  • Collaborate with external marketing and other professionals to implement strategies
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as required

The Key Objectives of this role are:
  • Drive Course Enrolments: Increase the number of corporate learners signing up for our programs by targeting key decision-makers within organisations.
  • Generate High-Quality Leads: Attract and convert new B2B prospects interested in our corporate learning solutions, focusing on long-term partnerships.
  • Elevate Brand Awareness: Strengthen MasterStart’s presence and reputation in the B2B edtech market, positioning us as a trusted partner for organisational learning and development.
  • Boost Social Media Engagement: Enhance interaction and build a community of engaged professionals on our social platforms, driving conversations around corporate education.

Requirements and skills:
  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools desired
  • Strong prioritisation, organisation, and project management skills
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Ability to travel as necessary

Please note this is a mostly remote position working with teams based primarily in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. The ideal candidate must have a suitable environment to work from home.
