About the Role
We are seeking an experienced manager and lead to join our team. This role will involve helping the Advanced Process Control team build and implement technologies that support Crux’s product deployment in the client production environment. You will support developing the team's expertise in tuning data models and identifying new opportunities that support product growth and faster deployment.
We are looking for someone who can apply his/her knowledge in new ways to advance how APC, optimization, simulation, and control techniques can be leveraged with technologies to provide cutting-edge, industry-changing products in a fast-growing start-up.
Reporting to the CPO, the Head of Advanced Process Control (APC) will lead, inspire, and empower a team of process control engineers and support specialists to drive the business forward. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and sales to align on customer needs, product roadmap, and optimization strategy. This role is a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise and leadership skills.
Leadership and Management
Build, lead, and manage a high-performing and world-class team

Set clear performance objectives and regularly review team performance

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Technical Innovation
Communicate APC concepts at a high level and in-depth as required
Drive continuous innovation to improve the delivery of products
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Identify and champion opportunities for automation, optimizations, and process improvement
Define requirements and objectives, estimating schedules, budgets, and resources
Establish best practices for executing optimization, modeling, and process control projects
Complete product configurations including control system tuningDevelop process control application modules within product lines
Complete and support the development of steady-state and hydraulic transient simulation models
Work with the Product Development Team and participate in developing the code base
Produce comprehensive documentation throughout project lifecycles
