Job description

This is a remote position.

The Client will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology.  The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.



Requirements


Mandatory Requirements:
· Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, or Management.
· Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification.
· Valid PROSCI (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification. 
 

Skill and Experience:

· 10 years’ experience managing information technology projects in a healthcare environment. Experience should include reporting progress to senior clinical management and ensuring the safe implementation of software solutions in a clinical environment.
· 7 years’ experience implementing or upgrading the All-scripts suite of products in an acute care environment. Experience should include coordinating            implementation with clinical resources and management, and ensuring that all staff are adequately prepared for the new system.
· 5 years’ experience directly testing or coordinating the testing of the integration of healthcare information systems using the Health Level 7 (HL7) standard.
· 3 years’ experience defining business cases for new initiatives and developing indicators for evaluating solution options to guide decision-making.
· 3 years’ experience leading the implementation of a healthcare information system to be deployed on a provincial or statewide level. Experience should include developing operational and clinical requirements for the standardization of clinical services.
· 2 years’ experience implementing supply chain management solutions in a healthcare setting. Experience should include reducing clinical risk and                increasing efficiency by automating and optimizing the clinical supply chain.
