This is a Project Manager role, working on various Managed Cloud Services projects, for Oracle customers. 5+ years IT project management experience, in B2B environments. PRINCE2 / PMP and standard ITIL Certification is desirable. Experience in delivering large scale IT projects and, preferably, experience in delivering Cloud solutions. Experience in delivering projects for external customers or third parties is desirable. Demonstrates in-depth understanding of customers' industries and core business processes, and their technical and business needs. Evidence of delivering projects via a proven Project Management Methodology. Experience in escalation management, risk management, issue management and change control. Ability to build significant long-term relationships with key customer contacts and members of the project team. Extensive customer "face-to-face" experience at middle or executive levels. Solid industry experience/knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator.

YOUR ROLEThis is an opportunity to be part of a complex project management team, delivering Managed Cloud Services projects and working alongside experienced technical and customer management teams.Your role will be to manage large scale customer projects, delivering ACS solutions to business-driven, technically complex requirements across the complete Oracle stack. We are looking for candidates with background in Professional Services, Account Management, Project Management, Enterprise IT Management, Customer Support, Enterprise software deployments. Experience in delivering large scale IT projects and, preferably, experience in delivering Cloud solutions is required.If you have excellent communication skills, you work well as part of a team, you learn quickly and you have a thing for problem solving, we want to hear from you.

EXPERIENCEProven experience in project management, incident management, risk management, issue management and change control is mandatory.Experience in delivering projects for external customers or third parties is desirable.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related subject or equivalent experience in a technology-related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Manage the Oracle Customer Relationships by forming long term customer relationships with key customer contacts. Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Provides direction and mentoring to more junior team members. Understand customer’s industry drivers, organization structure and key stakeholders, key projects and goals, and critical success factors as well as technical infrastructure and roadmap.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, the delivery teams and customers to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate delivery of Oracle Services, operating as the primary delivery contact to the customer, aiding and facilitating customer communications and activities across other Oracle lines of business.
  • Responsible for delivering to the contracted terms, effective and efficient use of Oracle delivery resources, achieving the contract margin and revenue objectives.
  • Identify and submit delivery leads for new opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Act as a point of contact for any major incidents, responsible for managing communication and customer expectations through resolution.
  • Establish and maintain a delivery governance model with the customer at the management and executive levels.
  • Perform scope and risk management.
  • Contribute to initiatives for Oracle delivery organizational process improvement and tool development.
  • Conduct periodic Service Account Planning and Account Reviews.
