Digital Project Manager

  • To ensure the successful delivery of client projects – with central focus on quality and project profitability. 
  • This role includes co-ordinating and managing projects as well as reporting on and adhering to key business processes such as Resourcing and Forecasting 

 

What the job covers 


  • Manages assigned projects, from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines, brief and budget 
  • Co-ordinates project set-up & kick-offs, to ensure projects are off to a good start 
  • Checks in regularly with key resources and stakeholders (client leads, technical leads, product leads, whole teams, etc.) to unearth and resolve project issues early. 
  • Is the first point of escalation for project issues and works to resolve them with the team, the various project leads, and client stakeholders where necessary; escalates further as appropriate 
  • Manages resourcing across projects to ensure the best use of billable talent. 

 

Responsibilities 


  • Team Management & Leadership  
  • Act as point of contact on all assigned projects  
  • Maintains communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure positive workflow.  
  • Escalating exceptions and issues to Project Director level as required 
  • Managing Clients' needs and expectations 
  • Keeping project status reports up to date 
  • Monitoring and enforcing project constraints (schedule / scope / resources)  
  • Champion internal systems for higher productivity working 
  • Drive projects to the final stages of completion by keeping the team both on track and highly motivated 

 

Enforcing best practice 


  • Manage assigned projects, involved with client projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines 
  • Provide and maintain project status – liaising with development teams, designers and commercial staff to provide accurate updates on project statuses 
  • Project quality assurance – reviewing output/deliverables against scope and ensuring sign-off from Key Internal Stakeholders 

 

Financial & Administrative:  


  • Monitor all internal and external costs for assigned projects 
  • Manages Project resourcing and forecasting accordingly reporting to Client services on revenue for each month 
  • Works with Client Services to ensure proper billing and invoicing

  • Successful project delivery and client satisfaction;  
  • Contribution to account profitability 
  • Overall quality of outputs; 
  • Peer feedback from colleagues, collated by line manager; 
  • Relationship with other operating companies/departments;

  • Being an effective coach/manager to junior members of the team.
