Senior Project Manager

This is a remote position.

Project Description:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee, direct and lead the RDS team accountabilities and responsibilities relative to upcoming RDS projects across sites. The resource will follow proven implementation methodology and work in partnership with the Site project team and across various other RDS teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Leadership, Coordination, management, and reporting on all aspects of the special project or implementation.
  
• Reporting includes weekly status reporting, weekly project planning updates, and ad hoc reporting
  
• Risk, issue, dependency management to ensure the critical path of the implementation is followed and milestones stay on track
  
• Partnership with the Site project team for overall successful delivery of the assigned implementation project
  

Requirements

•  Project Management experience, Cerner Knowledge and experience, understanding of Cerner integration, optimization and architecture.
  
• This role will perform project management and business analysis in a complex environment by engaging with stakeholders, including site leadership and subject matter experts, to understand workflow, providing and assisting with data gathering, testing, communications, stakeholder engagement activities, as well as go-live/activation planning and documentation.
  
• Experience with Healthcare IT Implementations preferred.
  
• EMR implementation experience preferred.
  
• Understanding of and experience with CST projects required.
  
• Experience with senior and executive level audiences, strong facilitation, collaboration and leadership skills, senior level project management required.
  
• Experience with setting up operational processes, transition to operations and project turnover processes an asset.
