Nocturnist Hospitalist

Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Nocturnist Hospitalist for their Long-Term Acute Care Hospital—RUSH Specialty Hospital. The new 100-bed facility will be a combined critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the Rush University Medical Center campus. The RUSH Specialty Hospital will be outfitted with the latest technology and will feature 44 critical illness recovery and 56 inpatient rehabilitation beds. The provider in this role will work 152-night shifts per year.

This LTACH Nocturnist Hospitalist Position Offers Unique Opportunities

  • RUSH is expanding care to critical illness recovery & inpatient rehabilitation patients in our new state of the art facility via a joint venture with Select Medical .
  • Provide overnight admissions and coverage for critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation patient populations on a Hospitalist team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

The Division of Hospital Medicine is comprised of over 70 faculty members focused on clinical excellence, education, quality improvement, patient safety and clinical research.
