Job Description:
The driver position is responsible for coordinating delivery route, delivering and/or unloading our products to customer locations. Responsible for the maintenance of the delivery vehicle, customer pick up/returns, some customer service care required. Check accuracy and stability of the load. Also responsible for pulling of customer orders being delivered in town and general warehouse duties, should time permit. If needed, inventory pick up from vendors. Home every weekend, out 1 -2 nights per week. Comply with DOT rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver truck into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents or violations.
Requirements
-Proven three to five years verifiable commercial driving experience
-Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
-Ability to handle freight touch and load securement
-Ability to operate a hand-truck and powered industrial equipment.
-Valid Class A CDL with hazardous material endorsements
-Must pass DOT drug screen and be enrolled in a random drug screen program
-Current DOT medical card
-Clean MVR driving record, no serious traffic violations
-Must be eligible to work in the United States.
