Job description

Position Overview:
RecruitGo is looking for a Broker Support/Loan Writer to assist our client, a company that operates in the financial services industry. It offers various services including commercial loans, insurance, investments, Kiwi Saver, and foreign exchange. 

We are looking for someone innovative, empathetic, community-oriented, adaptable, and flexible. You should have great attention to detail, be a self-starter, and possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide AHQ with services to support advisers and complete loan applications for submission by AHQ Advisors.
  • Onboarding new clients, ensuring Declaration and Scope of Service documents are understood and signed.
  • Ensuring all documentation is appropriately captured and recorded in the CRM system.
  • Drafting and recording accurate client file notes in the CRM system.
  • Finalizing loan documentation and settlement.
  • Completing client refix and restructuring on behalf of AHQ Advisors.
  • Handling client refinancing on behalf of AHQ Advisors.
  • Devote sufficient time and attention to provide services efficiently and in line with agreed timelines.
  • Ensure lenders receive complete information related to any loan application.
  • Provide lenders, upon request, with personal identification documentation for clients, complying with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all dealings with clients are done in person or disclose the method used to obtain information to the applicable lender, in compliance with relevant laws.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all loan products provided by AHQ's dealer group members.
  • Use only forms, documents, advertising, promotional materials, and ancillary documentation authorized by the lender.
  • Avoid altering or supplementing any forms or documents from the lender without prior written approval.
  • Ensure that all representations made to clients about lenders, loan products, or documents are accurate.
  • Perform additional obligations as communicated by lenders related to processing, confirming, and qualifying loan applications.
  • Check and record that loan funds requested by clients are for their sole use unless otherwise explicitly disclosed.
  • Provide completed loan applications and any other signed documents to the relevant AHQ client.
  • Promptly supply any new information related to loan applications to the applicable lender.
  • Maintain AHQ’s archive of records and documents related to submitted loan applications.
  • Exercise the degree of skill, care, and diligence expected of a competent mortgage or loan broker, complying with all relevant New Zealand laws and regulations.
  • Preserve the confidentiality and security of all confidential information.
  • Assist AHQ in responding to inquiries or notices issued under the Privacy Act 2020 or successor legislation, addressing complaints related to personal information handling.
  • Obtain AHQ’s prior written consent before using its name, logo, trademarks, or intellectual property in any advertising, promotional materials, or communications.
  • Maintain a professional manner to ensure that AHQ and its clients are not brought into disrepute.
  • Use best endeavors to promote AHQ's interests and grow its client base.
