Our team is born remote, we have over 18 nationalities on the team, and our main markets are North America and Western Europe. We’ve been around for 9 years, but are still very much a fast moving, agile growth company.

What you will do

As an Legal Associate you will be:

Review, draft, and finalize of contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other legal documents.
Review terms of service, privacy policies, and other legal agreements to ensure they meet company standards and comply with applicable laws.
Conduct preliminary reviews of third-party contracts and identify potential risks or compliance issues.
Assist in managing the company’s compliance with global privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PIPEDA, and other privacy laws.
Ensure that agreements, records, and databases are updated and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
Manage various procurement related engagements from customers.
Coordinate company's internal policies and assist in planning events and travel arrangements.

Requirements

We are looking for an action- driven, curious, fast moving colleague with:

3+ years of experience in a legal or administrative role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Experience reviewing contracts and managing compliance with legal and privacy regulations.
Familiarity with legal terminology, contract management, and privacy legislation.
Strong understanding of global privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PIPEDA).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities as well as strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
