This is a remote position.

Schedule
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM California Time (10:30 PM to 7:30 AM PHT)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Accounts Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in managing our financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial food service industry and U.S. bookkeeping principles.


Job Description

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables
  2. Perform account reconciliations
  3. Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures
  4. Process payroll
  5. Write maintenance contracts
  6. Coordinate and complete annual audits
  7. Calculate and process sales tax payments for multiple cities and counties
  8. Generate financial reports as needed
  9. Collaborate with office manager and team members to ensure smooth financial operations


  • Proficiency in U.S. bookkeeping principles
  • Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Can learn California sales tax regulations quickly
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
  • Experience managing finances for small to medium-sized businesses
  • Adaptability to work with a diverse range of service-related transactions
