Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Financial Analyst who is passionate about making a significant impact through their expertise in financial management and analysis, all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager on contract budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and assess financial reports, including monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual operating budgets for grants and contracts.
  • Oversee monthly billing processes to funding agencies and manage income and journal entries.
  • Evaluate internal and external financial reports, offering insights on variances.
  • Act as a liaison for program fiscal monitoring and document coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual stipulations and expectations.
  • Reconcile and finalize grants/contracts upon their conclusion.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in financial management with a solid understanding of non-profit financial statements.
  • Experience with grant/contract time reporting and payroll systems.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cost reimbursement contracts and governmental contracting practices is advantageous.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with outstanding communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution is required. An Associate Degree combined with two years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma alongside six years of equivalent work experience, may be considered.
  • A minimum of three to five years of pertinent experience in a similar organizational context is essential.

  • Salary Range: \(48,000.00 to \)52,000.00
