GP Strategies Corporation has a need for a Learning Coordinator. This is a part-time, temporary, remote position.

SUMMARY: Identifies, coordinates, and provides direction to various learning resources, setting priorities and managing efforts related to learning delivery to ensure personnel training and staff development programs are conducted in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Evaluates program needs, identifies priorities, and sets schedules as required in order to manage budget based on client contract or statement of work, ensuring learning deliverables are met.
  • Engages instructor and/or instructor’s management with all details and requirements for the program to ensure successful learning event delivery.
  • Prepares course pricing and creates work authorizations to confirm vendors.
  • Manages speaker relationships including sourcing, scheduling, confirming, preparing, and debriefing.
  • Monitors costs associated with each course and identifying cost saving methods.
  • Coordinates with the customer to obtain commitment of internal trainers and any additional resources that may be supporting the course delivery e.g. IT/Technical set ups.
  • Acts as first-line technical support for webinar events.
  • Completes setup and initiation of web-based events, monitors active sessions (including acting as moderator and host, providing polling and whiteboard support, and recording sessions), and escalates technical issues to appropriate support group.
  • Identifies the need for and develops training metrics, reports, guides, forms and job aids.
  • Evaluates training survey reports and identifies potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Conducts quality assurance checks on courses to identify and solve any potential issues.
  • Ensures all content on the Learning & Development platform is current.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure payment and compliance with vendor terms and conditions.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in training, coordination or administrative support type function
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience a plus
