Our client’s platform serves insurers of all sizes, from major carriers to hypergrowth managing general agents and regional insurers.

About The Role

Our client is seeking an exceptional Director, Strategic Accounts with 10+ years of enterprise sales experience to help spearhead commercial growth and forge new relationships with leading U.S. insurers. In this sales role, you will focus on a set of named, high-value, tier 1 enterprise accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing a mix of prospects and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.

You will be expected to identify key influencers and stakeholders, develop new relationships, nurture existing ones, convert them into sales opportunities, and ultimately secure large commercial agreements.

As a trusted thought partner, you will collaborate closely with company leadership, strategizing and executing innovative approaches to generate new opportunities and expand revenue from your designated accounts. You will also work with the Client Success team to ensure engagements are set up to deliver significant commercial impact and ROI for clients.

About You

  • You have 10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, driving new logo sales with top-tier organizations and expanding existing relationships.
  • You possess exceptional ability to close and grow large enterprise SaaS contracts.
  • You can quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry, becoming a trusted advisor to clients, prospects, and leadership.
  • You have experience working at an early-stage startup during periods of hypergrowth.
  • You can independently develop and execute sales plans to exceed targets, including prospecting at the senior executive level within enterprise organizations.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging effectively with senior executives.
  • You thrive on overcoming obstacles and are driven to find ways to get things done. The phrase “it can’t be done” is not in your vocabulary.
  • You are passionate, deeply motivated, and possess a strong will to win, excited about delivering world-class solutions to clients.
  • You are an excellent listener, perceptive to clients’ strategic priorities, and dedicated to enabling clients with the platform.
  • You value open, frank, and respectful communication.

Requirements

  • Willingness to spend several days per week meeting with clients and prospects in-person within your geography (Tri-state area or Midwest if based in Chicago).
