Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Nextech RCM Account Manager to join our Physician RCM division. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Director of Operations.
What you'll do
Captivating, positive, and high-quality client communication.
Identifying areas of improvement to documentation, workflow, and Revenue Cycle Management process by taking initiative and utilizing effective problem-solving skills and strong knowledge of Nextech Select and P+.
Communication to clients on areas for improvement (i.e. coding, modifier usage, workflow optimization, new lines of revenue, etc.).
Supervising a multi-disciplinary team of people (on-shore and off-shore) responsible for all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management including but not limited to charge, payment posing, A/R follow-up, denials, rejections, and appealed claims.
Analyzing trends through software reporting and expert usage of Excel to isolate problematic billing issues requiring improvement.
Oversee billing supervisors and representatives as required. Coach and develop this staff.
Review and assess quality trends of staff performance.
Actively engage with client stakeholders on process improvement and industry news.
Conduct monthly meetings with clients.
Present reports to the leadership team informing them of any necessary staffing changes.
Manage and oversee practice key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate client’s RCM health status.
Other tasks and projects as required and assigned.
What we're looking for
Qualified candidates will have achieved at least an associate degree in the field of medical billing or related field and/or have 2-3 years of related medical billing/AR management experience.
Experience and background in Physician Professional Billing. Direct experience billing for Ophthalmology practices highly preferred.
Experience using the Nextech Select and P+ EMR software.
Candidates must have experience in supervising staff and overseeing workflow functions.
Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.
Qualified candidates must have a professional working environment in their home including phone and internet access.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
