Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Account Manager to join our Physician RCM division. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Senior Director of Operations.



What you'll do

  • Captivating, positive, and high-quality client communication ensuring clients concerns are addressed and building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Identifying areas of improvement to documentation, workflow, and Revenue Cycle Management process by taking initiative and utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue cycle management strategy across multiple specialties aimed at increasing revenue, reducing denials, and optimizing billing processes.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish revenue goals and performance metrics, and regularly report on progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).‍‍
  • Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for key Assembly Health clients, actively engaging with their leadership and finance teams to understand business objectives and aligning revenue cycle processes accordingly.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and presentations to address any concerns, discuss performance metrics, and foster a strong working relationship.
  • Communication to clients' areas for improvement (i.e. coding, modifier usage, workflow optimization, new lines of revenue, etc.)
  • Supervising a multi-disciplinary team of people (on-shore and off-shore) responsible for all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management including but not limited to charge, payment posting, A/R follow-up, denials, rejections, and appealed claims. Review and assess quality trends of staff performance.
  • Utilize Excel to analyze trends, isolate, billing issues, and recommend improvements.‍‍
  • Conduct monthly client meetings that include presenting findings and putting together reports.
  • Oversee and manage key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate clients' RCM health status.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned to meet the business’s evolving needs.

What we're looking for

  • Qualified candidates will have achieved at least an associate degree in the field of medical billing or related field and/or have 5+ years of related medical billing/AR management experience. Relevant certifications in revenue cycle management such as CPC, CPPM, or CPB in current standing is a plus.
  • Proven experience in revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry, with specific expertise in pain management, physical therapy, and orthopedic billing.
  • Superior knowledge of NextGen EMR.
  • Proficiency in running NGE reports, data analysis tools, including Excel and pivot tables, to identify trends, recommend solutions, and reduce denials.
  • Candidates must have experience with overseeing workflow functions and operations.
  • Some limited travel maybe required.
  • Qualified candidates must have a professional working environment in their home including phone and internet access.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
