Title: Web Systems Analyst Department: Business Systems

FLSA: Exempt Status: Full Time

Position Summary

Looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to be a member of IT Business Systems team and support Client facing Web Applications.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Serves as IT Subject Matter Expert on Web Portal Applications.
Assist with prioritizing and defining roadmap for Web Portal Applications
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives
Partner with stakeholders and developers to continuously groom the web applications features backlog
Communicate web applications roadmaps both internally and to clients
Evaluates and analyzes project requirements for new or modified systems and determines feasibility, cost, and time required.
Lead discovery & requirements activities with stakeholders in Client Services, Operations and IT
Prepares system specifications and solution proposals, facilitates reviews with stakeholders.
Engages internal and 3rd party development teams on design, build and testing of system changes.
Works with business owners to secure user acceptance, conducts training and supports business operations during and after implementation.
Co-ordinates with Security team to ensure security requirements are met, and vulnerabilities are addressed.
Serves as an expert and provide day-to-day user support to business teams.
Analyzes system issues to find root cause of a defect and revises programs as necessary to correct.
Follows best practices in IT service delivery, including Incident, Problem Management, and Change management.
Provides timely status reports to Project Management Office and IT Management.
Performs other duties and special projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in designing and developing web applications
Excellent understanding of modern web standards & architectures
Working knowledge of Web & Database tool-sets - SQL Server, NET, PHP, HTML5 and JavaScript frameworks
A self-starter and motivated individual, with a problem solving attitude and ability to respond to business needs with minimal guidance.
Ability to engage with stakeholders to bring to surface and synthesize their needs and pain-points
A good understanding of project management methodologies.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and strong analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse group of professionals in close cooperation.
Candidates with business knowledge and experience in Healthcare and Welfare Plans Administration systems, will be preferred. Claims, Eligibility and Pensions.
